Speakers at Ashland University

At AU we bring in several guest speakers each year as part of our Environmental Lecture Series and our Biology/Toxicology Workshop series.  In addition, the student honor society Beta Beta Beta hosts regional scientists for both research seminars and practical seminars on topics such as admission to professional and graduate programs.

As part of the Environmental Lecture Series, our students have the opportunity to attend dinner with the speaker, and to talk informally with him or her before the lecture.  Our Workshop speakers spend two days on campus, teach an upper level lab class, give a research seminar, and are also available for informal interaction with students.
