James Marron has established himself through dynamic performances of the latest in contemporary music as well as insightful interpretations of the classics. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Marron has performed in Italy, France, Germany and throughout the United States. As co-founder of Marronprater dance and music co., he has composed modern dance music that has been performed at festivals from Colorado to New York. His solo recordings Spring Rising and Six Poems for the Angels have garnered critical acclaim from Classical Guitar Magazine and Twentieth Century Guitar Magazine. His compositions are published by Mel Bay. Currently Mr. Marron is on the faculty of Ashland University and the University of Akron. He is a BMI affiliate composer.
