Dr. Timothy E. Guenther
Organ

Dr. Timothy E. Guenther, Adjunct Instructor in Organ and University Organist at Ashland University, also serves as full-time Director of Music at First English Lutheran Church (ELCA), Mansfield, OH. He holds degrees in organ performance from the American Conservatory of Music, the University of Alabama, and the Eastman School of Music. His principal organ teachers have been Mabel Zehner, Warren Hutton, and Russell Saunders.

Dr. Guenther is rostered as an Associate in Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and holds the American Guild of Organists certificates of Associate (AAGO) and Choirmaster (ChM).

A charter member of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians (ALCM), he currently serves as President of Region I. He is active in the American Guild of Organists (AGO), and has served as Dean of the North Central Ohio Chapter. He also holds membership in the Organ Historical Society, The Reed Organ Society, and The American Theatre Organ Society.
