Business Planning

Once you have gathered all of the necessary information for your business, you should write a business plan.  A business plan is the basic road map for your business and includes topics such as a description of your products/services, management, and financial issues of your business.

If you are writing the plan with the intention of getting a bank loan, you must also include how much of a loan you need, for what purpose, and when you will be paying the loan back.  There are many business planning guides in libraries and bookstores and in software programs to help you with writing your plan.  Or, call the SBDC for a business planning guide at 419-207-5568 or 1-877-289-1468.
