When preparing manuscripts for submission, please follow these guidelines:
-
The journal features two kinds of articles:
- Research reports and reviews of literature should be unbiased and scholarly in nature. Such articles may be 20-25 pages in length.
- Informed commentary articles argue for a particular action agenda by citing relevant literature. Articles in this category should be limited to 10-15 manuscript pages.
-
It is assumed that the author of the article will include written permission for any quoted materials that require it.
-
Include your educational affiliation, academic title, and terminal degree, and/or other qualifications or experiences pertinent to your article.
-
An electronic copy in Microsoft Word will be requested at the time of acceptance.
The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 5th Edition is to be used to guide the preparation of the manuscript. This includes the following:
- Three copies of the original manuscript must be submitted for publication in ASE
-
The entire manuscript must be double spaced, including footnotes, references, and tables.
-
Type on one side of the paper with margins of at least one inch.
-
Be sure that the form of headings and subheadings is consistent.
-
Indentations or other special arrangements of the text should be clearly indicated.
