Ashland's M.Ed. program was introduced in 1976 and today is one of the largest in Ohio. The program has been accredited through 2009 by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education and includes the advanced levels of professional educational programs offered by the University.
The most most recent evaluation of the M.Ed. program by the North Central Association and the Ohio Board of Regents verified that the faculty, programs and facilities were of such a high quality that a 10-year accreditation was approved.
