The Educational Administration Departmental mission statement was presented and unanimously approved at the October 10, 2003 department meeting.
- The Mission Statement reads:
The mission of Faculty and Staff in the Department of Educational Administration is to provide a high quality education for aspiring administrators. Our goal is to prepare ethical and competent educational leaders who are able to work with diverse groups; to integrate critical thinking skills, communication skills and technical skills; and to exercise reflection, judgment and wisdom in decision-making. Throughout the program, out students will be expected to examine and utilize theories and practices which will equip them to interpret change in meaningful contexts and to subsequently lead effectively.
