LOANS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

The following loan programs are available to provide graduate and post-baccalaureate students with assistance to pay for their Ashland University education:

Federal Loans

Students who are enrolled at least half-time in the following programs are eligible to apply for the Federal Stafford Loan through AU's participation in the Federal Family Education Program (FFELP):

• Master's Degree Programs
• Doctoral Degree Programs

In addition, the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan is available for students whose Stafford Loan eligibility is less than the cost of attendance for the program. 

NOTE:  According to federal regulations, students in the Graduate Certification Program seeking principal, superintendent or other administrative licensure are not eligible for Federal Loans.

Private Education Loans

Private education loans are available for the following students:

• who are enrolled less than half-time in any program

• who are seeking principal, superintendent or other administrative licensure
