Step 1: Review Electronic Award on WebAdvisor
Incoming Students and Students Who Have Not Attended AU in the Last Six Months - receive a paper copy of their initial award through the mail. They will also be mailed, prior to May 1, instructions for accessing their award on WebAdvisor.
Returning Students - receive an e-mail at their AU email account notifying them when their initial electronic award is available for viewing on WebAdvisor.
All Students - returning students receive notices of revised awards by email only; incoming students will receive paper revised awards until registered. Students may review and print their award and check for missing forms WebAdvisor.

1. How do I access my award on WebAdvisor?
- access WebAdvisor at https://webadvisor.ashland.edu
- click on "WebAdvisor for Students"
- go to "Financial Aid" and click on "Financial aid award letter"
- login with User Name and Password
- Username is the same as your AU e-mail Username
- If accessing WebAdvisor for the first time, your temporary password is the last six digits of your social security number. You will be prompted to provide a new password.
- Contact the IT Department at 419-289-5045 or at helpdesk@ashland.edu if you have problems accessing your WebAdvisor account.
2. Are international students eligible for scholarships?
Undergraduate international students who are attending full time may qualify for certain scholarships. Contact the International Student Affairs Office to determine if you qualify for academic scholarships or visit their scholarship website at: http://www.ashland.edu/iss/FAQ-scholar.html. If you are interested in an athletic scholarship, then contact the coach.
3. Are international students eligible for federal aid?
Eligible non-citizens of the United States may apply for federal grants and loans by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Generally, you are an eligible non-citizen if you are:
- a U.S. permanent resident and you have an Alien Registration Receipt Card (I-551);
- a conditional permanent resident (I-551C); or
- an other eligible non-citizen with an Arrival-Departure Record (I-94) from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service showing any one of the following designations: Refugee, Asylum Granted, Indefinite Parole, Humanitarian Parole, or Cuban-Haitian Entrant.

6. What payment plans are available?
- semester payments bills are mailed to student in July for fall semester and December for spring semester
