This association was created to promote closer cooperation between institutions of higher education personnel and human resource administration. Specific purposes are as follows:

• To promote professionalism in the field of personnel and human resource administration

 
• To provide conferences, seminars, workshops, and other staff development opportunities for the exchange of concepts and programs in personnel and human resources administration

 
• To foster increased unity and cooperation among all institutions of higher education in the State of Ohio 

 
• To facilitate research and an exchange of ideas in personnel and human resource administration

 
• To be an affiliate Chapter of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA HR) national organization
