Residence Requirements : (Catalog; Registrar's Office, X5029, 200 Founders)
1. At least 60 semester hours must be completed satisfactorily at a baccalaureate degree-granting institution.
2. At least 32 semester hours of credit must be completed satisfactorily at Ashland University .
3. The last 16 semester hours of credit must be completed satisfactorily at Ashland University .
Institutional Baccalaureate Degree Requirements : (Catalog; Registrar's Office, X5029, 200 Founders; Academic Advising from one of the following colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, X5783 OR X5098, College of Business and Economics, X5943, College of Education, X5358)
1. The catalog credit transfer policy for core courses must be read and understood.
2. Introduction to University Life (IUL) requirement shall be met.
3. International Perspective (IPR) requirement shall be met.
4. All requirements for Core must be met.
5. The number of hours than can be taken from any one academic area (i.e. courses with the same prefix) as part of an individual student's core requirements is limited to six hours for the group of core categories requiring 3 hours (excluding historical reasoning), and nine hours for group of core categories requiring 6 hours (including historical reasoning).
6. The cumulative grade point average must meet the minimum required for the specific degree.
7. If earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, the foreign language requirement shall be met.
8. All credits required for the degree (minimum of 128) must be completed by the deadline for the semester of graduation.
Major Requirements : (Catalog; Chair of Department(s); Academic Advising - see above)
1. All courses required for the major must be completed by the deadline for the semester of completion of degree requirements.
2. At least half of the credits required for the specific major must consist of courses taken at Ashland University .
3. Major grade point average must meet the minimum required for the specific major.
4. The minor(s) requirements must be met, if pursuing a major that requires a minor OR if a minor has been selected by the student.
