Returning students interested in using the WebAdvisor registration process may do so at the authorization of their faculty advisors. Please meet with your faculty advisor ahead of time to review the process.
- You must receive permission from your faculty advisor. If you do not, WebAdvisor will not accept your registration and you will not be able to register on line. Instead, you will have to bring your approved registration card to the Registrars Office.
- You will only be able to register during approved times listed on a report given to your advisor. The system will block your registration attempt until your predetermined time.
- You need to know your email login and the last six digits of your social security number. Once you have logged into the WebAdvisor to register, you will be required to change your password from the last six digits of your social security number if you have not already done so.
- The WebAdvisor system is programmed to refuse registrations for students with balances. Make sure your account has no balance before you attempt to register on line.
- The WebAdvisor blocks registration for courses if the prerequisites are not met. Even if you plan to complete a prerequisite for a course in summer, the system will not let you register for a fall class that has that prerequisite. You will have to register for that course by going to the Registrars Office.
- You will still have to submit the paper work to the Registrars Office for Independent Studies, Courses by Conference, elective Internships, or Applied Music courses before these courses can be added to your schedule.
- The WebAdvisor will not let you register for graduate-level courses if you are in an undergraduate program and vice versa.
- Courses that are offered at off-campus sites will be displayed in the options. Please be sure that you do not accidentally register for a course that meets in Cleveland, North Central State, or some other location! On campus courses will be marked AC.
-
Web registration for all students will end at 5:00pm on Thursday, April 10. Students can register in the Registrar's Office, 200 Founders Hall, after that time.
The WebAdvisor site can also be used to see up-to-date information about your current semester schedule, transcript record, program evaluation, and account balance. That service is not connected to the registration option, so it is available to you any time of day throughout the year and does not require special permission.
